Flip Fly

Flip Fly is a KMG Inversion swing that has been at the Oktoberfest since 2009. Up to twelve riders, seated back-to-back in three gondolas, are propelled to a height of 24 meters. Not only does the swing itself perform somersaults, but the gondolas can also rotate freely around their own axes. Added to this is the horizontal rotation around the center of the gondola array.

The unpredictable gondola flips, combined with the fairly high vertical acceleration, make for a comparatively intense ride.
