Oktoberfest visitors are already familiar with a similar version of this giant swing from the Höhenrausch XXL, the other KMG XXL at the Oktoberfest. Konga is a swing whose gondola swings up to a height of 40 meters and, at the bottom of the swing’s arc, presses passengers into their seats with a force four times their body weight. In addition, the gondola ring rotates, intensifying the sensation of weightlessness at the apex. The ride mechanism is also familiar from the Free Style, which has been a fixture at Oktoberfest for years. However, due to its enormous size, the ride experience on Konga is considerably more intense.

The swing’s jungle theme has been implemented quite effectively, featuring voodoo masks, fire fountains, and an animated chimpanzee.
